On the menu tonight: Bush Bratwurst. Is our beef safe to eat or not?

I created a new recipe tonight. I call it the bush-bratwurst. It's kinda of like a chili dog only with a bratwurst. Simply mix a can of baked beans and a pound or two of ground beef, Bratwurst then goes into the bun and on goes the bean sauce, sauerkraut, ketchup etc. Pretty messy, unfortunately I saw this story about more meat recalls, ground beef in particular. Do I dare look at the packaging to see if the ground beef I just ate was on the recall list?
