Liberal Blogs can have their opinion, but why can't they act like grown ups?

Below is a blog I found on Reuters linked to the progressive
Middle Earth Journal blog. The writer says the following on
Hillary Clinton:
"More important I think she is the candidate who is most likely to keep Rudy Mussolini Giuliani out of the White House."
He also has posted this picture.

He writes;

I'm not a fan of Hillary Clinton but I endorsed her a few months back - and yes, I had to hold my nose. Writing at Newshoggers my friend Libby is afraid that Hillary can't unify the country and I agree. But I really don't think that any one person can. My comment to Libby's post:

I think at this point the entire "unite the country" meme is absurd. After 8 years of Bush/Cheney the country is so polarized that no one will be able to unite it in the foreseeable future. The way the country will be united is with policy that helps the majority.

A progressive congress and a Hillary Clinton can do that. As Jazz pointed out the other day the electability issue is a none issue when you look at her running against Rudy. As I pointed out here Hillary has one plus - she is a fighter and up to taking on the GOP slime machine. And Hillary has another plus:

The right has been digging up dirt on Hillary for 16 years - there is very little they can say that most people don't know already. The same can't be said for Rudy or Mitt. Rudy has so many skeletons in his closet that the US voter doesn't know about that Bill Clinton and James Carville will have plenty of ammunition.

The path to unifying this country may well be a divisive character like Hillary Clinton.

More important I think she is the candidate who is most likely to keep Rudy Mussolini Giuliani out of the White House.

The left's tactics have long included comparing republicans and conservatives with Nazis and fascists. This is funny because conservative values completely clash with fascist values. On the other hand, Progressive ideals, ie socialism, big government and redistribution of wealth, are also ideals shared by some of the worlds greatest oppressors like Mussolini and Hitler. The irony.

On the menu tonight: Bush Bratwurst. Is our beef safe to eat or not?

I created a new recipe tonight. I call it the bush-bratwurst. It's kinda of like a chili dog only with a bratwurst. Simply mix a can of baked beans and a pound or two of ground beef, Bratwurst then goes into the bun and on goes the bean sauce, sauerkraut, ketchup etc. Pretty messy, unfortunately I saw this story about more meat recalls, ground beef in particular. Do I dare look at the packaging to see if the ground beef I just ate was on the recall list?

Saudi Dr. Phil Says Okay to Beat Wife

Here's a telling cultural story from foxnews:

Move over, Dr. Phil, there's a new relationship expert in town.

He's Saudi author and cleric, "Dr." Muhammad Al-'Arifi, who in a remarkable segment broadcast on Saudi and Kuwaiti television in September, counseled young Muslim men on how to treat their wives.

"Admonish them – once, twice, three times, four times, ten times," he advised. "If this doesn't help, refuse to share their beds."

And if that doesn't work?

"Beat them," one of his three young advisees responded.

"That's right," Al-'Arifi said.
