...and Mccain is not that person. Paul Mirengoff with powerline posted a blog yesterday titled "A Romney ad That Goes too Far", Paul claims the ad is misleading.
But the add, in my opinion, does a great job illustrating one of the main problems with a Mccain nomination: that Mccain will not be able illustrate the contrasts between Democrats and Republicans as well as Romney will.
It's been said before that if Mccain is our nominee it will be a 'civil' and 'clean' campaign. Which is exactly what we don't want. I thought we'd wanted a candidate that will clearly draw distinctions between the two parties, not similarities.
A lack of contrast between the two nominees undoubtedly guarantee a democratic president come November.
One distinction comes to mind---where I think Mccain and the democrats have "gone to far" is the global warming myth--but first heres the Romney Ad

Here's Romney in the last debate drawing an important "contrast" between himself and Mccain on global warming--using the facts. And as Romney says earlier in the debate: "facts are stubborn things"
